Here are some explanations... a loose sleeveless cloak or shawl, acovering of a specified sort, an important role or responsibility that passes from one person to another: the second son has now assumed his father's mantle: with allusion to the passing of Elijah's cloak (mantle) to Elisha (2 Kings 2:13).Clothein or on as if in a mantle; to cloak, to envelop: The Blood, The Oil & The Spirit.
One size does not fit all. Saul's armor fit king Saul not the future king David.
Mantles are like jackets, coats and capes. Just as the natural climate dictates our wearing apparel, so it is in the Spirit.
The Lord has His reasons why in some seasons and some situations we feel less covered, less protected. We do not always succeed because of what we think we have. It's who we know and what we know. It is not always what we have that transforms us into the sons and daughters of God. You can buy a mantle, you can have garments custom made and still feel naked. Buying, owning these things do not make us invisible to the enemy. It is the glory of God which does not only cover us but protrudes from us which shatters the enemy. It is the glory which blinds the enemy not a mantle made of man.
God gives, God allows people to have physical mantles as a representation of His authority in our life. Mantles do not take the place of God, nor are they God. They are cloth. They are dyed, jeweled pieces of material which are created by the artisan He chooses. God has many garment makers. He has may ministers who dye and fashion His clothing for people all over the earth. Our mantles are custom made by SOE Ministries of Windsor Ontario Canada.
Throughout the years as I have walked with the Lord... this ministry has walked with me. We are in covenant with each other. We are more than friends and fellow ministers, we are family. They know me and I trust them. Over the years I have called them up requesting orders so special and unique they have often said, I can't do that. I don't know how to create that. I've never done, heard or seen that look, that color, that design before... and yet each time. Time and time again they have rose to the challenge and created what was on Gods mind.
I could continue bragging about them but space will not allow. But please know this... I believe in them. They believe in me and the God I serve. We worship the same God. Each of us has different gifts and talents. Theirs is making mantles and so much more.
Please continue to the other links. Read about them, their ministry and if possible, just maybe you will have found your link to God through their incredible offerings to the body of Christ.
